There are shots that are perfectly exposed, and then there are images that need help. This is one of the latter, though I’m not entirely satisfied with the Lightrooming I did to this one (the leaf doesn’t quite “pop” as I’d like it to). Canon AL-1, 50/1.8 and Kodak TMax 400.

Sometimes, you get a good shot even when it’s way too bright out and you’re standing in the middle of the street with cars headed your way. Kodak TMax 400 with the usual AL-1 setup.
This is what’s called a challenging light situation: strong, hazy morning light coming from above and around the bridge I’m standing beneath. Made more challenging by using Lomography Earl Grey, rather than more dynamic Kodak TMax 100. Definitely will need to revisit this space…

Pulled the Zeiss Contaflex out of hibernation… Think I need to print this one.
This frame needs a fair amount of massaging in Lightroom to really bring out the contrasting detail (something I didn’t do). But there’s just so much going on graphically in this shot; I love it. The AL-1 and TMax 100 at Oral Roberts University in Tulsa.
