Once again, my flatbed takes over and decides to reframe two shots.

Finally posting a few recent shots I’m fond of… More Bushwick wanderings.  

Playing with a red filter and Ilford Delta, pushing for extreme contrasts in Ridgewood.

The neg suffered a bit of chemical weirdness during processing, so I decided to muck around in Lightroom and play with the image. Too much?

At the Met. Nikon D90 b/w with enough Lightroom FX to almost make it look filmic. Almost.

Only took me about a dozen or so rolls, but I finally shot a roll that’s more good than bad shots. Part of that’s little stuff, like getting the focus right (still remarkably challenging). Other parts are more esoteric, like film stock. Ilford Delta 100 loves direct sunlight, though it could use a red filter.…

New flatbed scanner, another reason to keep shooting.

Took me four rolls, and this is a mediocre scan of the neg with a bit of Lightroom/Photoshopping. But the Zeiss and the Sekonic light meter seem to be working as they should. Kinda neat to be working with hardware that’s older than I am for a change… Shot on Ilford Pan 50.    

I noticed these board against the garage a day earlier, one of the rare times when I was without camera. They waited for me to return the next day.

More shots w. the 80-400 zoom. Not crazy about color, but fun to tweak in Lightroom.
